I initially started this site because as a black golfer or better yet a golfer that happens to be black, I felt that other resources for information about golf was lacking in its appeal and interest to the African American golfing community. However, as I started writing articles about lowering your scores, knowing the rules, and being more professional /courteous on the course. I realized that some of the information was relevant to ALL golfers. I still plan on discussing topics that will relate more to black golfers, such as: Golf Travel for the African American, The History of Black Golf & Players, The HBC Collegiate Golf Scene, and Black Teaching Professionals. Finally I want to celebrate the game of golf; it’s a game that brings out a lot of passion in me, from when my Dad first taught me as a little kid to now, more than 30 years later. So I hope you enjoy this site, and feel free to contact me if you have any questions, ideas, insights or information can make the site better.

Keep your head down,
